[Eugene Volokh] Arkansas Judge Issues Temporary Restraining Order Against Allegedly Libelous Political Ad

A person running for a seat on the Arkansas Supreme Court should know better than to file these suits.  What’s even more shocking is her quote in today’s Democrat-Gazette wherein she said:

“I’m a big believer in the First Amendment, but no one has a First Amendment right to lie.”
